Plenary Speakers
-
H-Index: 75
Prof. Dr. Bengt FADEEL
Institute of Environmental Medicine at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden, EU
- Research aims of the Division of Molecular Toxicology headed by Prof. Fadeel are to identify and characterize molecular and biochemical processes that are induced by exposure to toxic substances including engineered nanomaterials.
- The nanotoxicological research focuses on the elucidation of mechanisms underlying the toxicity of nanomaterials and other advanced materials with particular focus on hazardous effects on the immune system.
-
H-Index: 84
Prof. Dr. Iván MORA-SERÓ
Institute of Advanced Materials, Universitat Jaume I, Spain, EU
- His research focuses on crystal growth, nanostructure devices, transport and recombination properties, photocatalysis, and electrical characterization of photovoltaic, electrochromic, and aqueous grafting systems, both experimental and theoretical.
- Recent research activity is focused on new concepts of photovoltaic light conversion and emission (LED and light amplifiers) based on nanoscale devices and semiconductor materials that follow two mid-lines: semiconductor quantum dots and halide perovskites.
